Cutting - Paani

#CuttingPaani,

There has been many talk to save water, but do we really adopt any of this for long long time, we may do for few days / weeks but some time we forget and again come back to zero. We forget how much water is needed.

Let me come to point directly, if we like we can do followings.
  1. Think you are paying for water, for each drop.
  2. Try to reuse water what you have.
  3. Take only that much water which you can consume.
  4. If you have water filter at home, try to reuse filtered water. I request new builders to give option where people from each floor can pore extra water from filter and that can be used for various activity within society.
  5. You can also use that water for handwash /watering  etc.

Remember : "Jal hi jeevan hai' like we save wealth for our generation, we should save water as well.

Strong Inside to Grow Outside

In India or I would say in this world, health is one of the major concern for everyone. Specially for mother for her kid.

Every mother wants her child to be Taller, Stronger & Sharper.

A growing child's need is different, they need perfect balance amount of all nutritious, protein, vitamins, minerals etc.

In today's lifestyle this became biggest challenge for a  mother / parent to provide all these component in daily diet to her/their kid.

In other way, most of the cases they are not aware that their kid need something extra to grow stronger and healthier.

To fill this gap, Today, Horlicks met may folk at Indiblogger  meet in Bangalore and given very nice presentation that what all essentials are needed for a child to grow Taller, Stronger & Sharper.

They also come-up with very cool tool called Nutri Meter. (https://www.nutrimeter.horlicks.in) which can help you to find the gap of vitamins, proteins, minerals etc in your kid's diet.

Thanks to Horlicks to taking step to make our nation strong & healthy.

Cancer Awareness Day

This very special Day of Cancer awareness observed on 7th November is to stress upon the early detection and cure of cancer. National Cancer Control Programme was started in 1975 to make people aware of this deadly disease.

Cancer is defined as an unrestricted outgrowth of cells. The specific cells start dividing and multiplying giving rise to a lump. Often these lumps are non-malignant, causing no harm. But sometimes these lumps grow into diseased or malignant form in the body, often causing death, if not treated earlier. Hence, need of the hour regarding this disease is not to be fearful amd consult a doctor. the best remedy of it is to live a clean and healthier life style with proper diet and peace of mind. At the same time we must be aware of the disease.

Fraud done by company who are giving discounts

Dear All,

Be careful with the discount offer given by the companies/brand. They are doing big fraud and you are not at all aware of it.

Lets take an example: When you see any discount offer like 30% (*Vat extra). What do you understand by that?

- You'll get 30% discount on MRP and you need to pay VAT extra, correct?
- Extra VAT on which amount, discounted or amount after discount?

Here they do fraud with you and make unaccountable money.

They say they are taking complete VAT amount from you as they have already paid to government so they take 5% (VAT) on the amount after discount.

They should take VAT on discounted amount, not on the amount after discount.

For example:

- You are buying one shirt of 1000/- (MRP) which is having 30% discount.
- So you'll be billed like : 1000 - 30% = 700 + 5% (VAT) = 735/-

The calculation does not seem to be that simple as it seems. VAT is included in the MRP. Tax component and tax exclusive price can be calculated by applying tax fraction

MRP * [r/(r+100) where r is the tax rate] on the MRP.

Let us say MRP is Rs. 1000 and the VAT is 5%. In that case, the VAT component is

1000 * (5/(5+100)) = 1000 * 0.047619048 = 47.619048

Rs. 47.62. Now, if you get that product at discounted price of Rs. 700, in this case the VAT component is Rs. 33.33.
So, for the shop-owner  the loss on VAT paid to the government is 47.62-33.33 = 14.29.

- Correct calculation: 1000 - 30% = 700 + (5% of 300 = 14.29) = 714.29/-

Today I have argument with one of brand (SS) on this and they said this in system, when I explained complete calculation that person (on counter) accepted and given me on actual price.

So be careful while taking discount and raise your voice to stop corruption and save your money.

Indian General Elections 2014 With Social Mobile Apps

This is really good idea to have social media for voting. If this is the case then every candidate should have profile on social media (A real profile with all records including their criminal records, if any) then this is really good for the country and people.

However like every coin has two side so this is also as per my view.

Side one (GoodOne):
******************

  1. More voter will join the election process.
  2. It's convenience.
  3. No valiance.
  4. Will be fastest way to vote.
  5. Transparent.

 Side two (BadOne):
*****************

  1. Difficult to control fake voting. (People can create multiple ID or can steal ID's of other can can vote to their people.
